Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger are two of the world’s most popular investors. Buffett and Munger are both from Omaha, Nebraska. Warren Buffett has been one of the most successful American value investors for decades. He has ranked among the world’s wealthiest people every year and in 2010 was named the third wealthiest person in the world. Charlie Munger is the Vice-Chairman of Warren Buffet’s investment corporation Berkshire Hathaway.
An author named Bud Labitan wrote a book focused on buffett and munger four filters value investing process. The book analyzes each step that Buffett and Munger use in their investment process. Their process involves four major filters: Margin-of-Safety, Enduring Customers, Products, and Trustworthy Managers. These four filters combined create one important formula that forms the basis of their investment decisions. These filters were created in 1977 and have not been changed ever since. The book offers a basic general overview of the invest process and is recommended for people who do not know much about Buffett already.
